Visiting UCC Midland for the first time? Here are some things you can expect.

Sunday worship service, nursery, and Sunday school all begin at 10:00 am and last one hour.

The parking lot fills up fast so it's recommended that you arrive at least 15-20 minutes early. If the parking lot is full when you arrive, you can park on Chestnut Hill Dr. beyond Chestnut Hill Elementary School. There are handicap parking spaces available in front of the church. Please see our page on accessibility for more information on parking.

Nursery care is provided during worship service. If you need nursery services, please see an usher when you arrive.

Our ushers are very friendly. They will greet and welcome you and hand you a bulletin for that day's service.

If you need a hearing device or a large-print bulletin, please see an usher and they will be happy to provide you with one. Please see our page on accessibility for more information on hearing devices and large-print bulletins.

On the tables near the sanctuary you will notice name tags. Be sure to fill one out and put it on. We're a friendly bunch and like to know everyone's name.

At the beginning of worship service we have joys and concerns where we share things we're blessed as well as things we, our families, or friends are struggling with.

We also greet each other with the love of God by shaking hands and saying, "Hello!"

During worship service you'll see the Children's Moment where kids sit on the floor near the chancel and Pastor Pancost leads them in a discussion. If you have children, feel free to let them participate. After Children's Moment, the children go with the Sunday School leaders to their respective classrooms. Parents then find them after worship service concludes.

In each pew you'll notice a red registry book. Feel free to write your name and indicate that you are visiting.

Our church has an active choir! You will hear several hymns and other pieces throughout the worship service. UCC Midland also has a hand bell choir which is featured during many services. You'll also occasionally hear different instruments beyond the organ and piano, too!

Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month, as well as on special worship occasions. Anyone can accept communion here.

After worship service most of the congregation makes its way into the fellowship hall for snacks and conversation.
